The Museum of Witchcraft
has already blown its 10 candles! Wizards, druids, dragons... have settled in Concressault for the pleasure of young and old. In 1997, the Musée de la sorcery distinguished itself in Paris at the Motor Show (Mitcar) by becoming the "site of the year".
The curators are never short of ideas and organize each year a new exhibition, the theme 2003: "The witch seen by illustrators". |

DeThe illustrations from the 15th century to the present are exhibited here. They bear witness to the evolution of the mentality towards the witches: "by enchantment the evil witch of the 15th century becomes in the 20th century the ideal companion of children's nights"

Vierzon Station is an important railway node where the steam train operated between 1847 and 1973.
Did you know steam machines had a nickname, usually feminine?
The mechanic and the driver or the "blackmouths" had a real attachment to their steam locomotive.
Raymond L Chaplain, an ex-roller, perpetuates this passion far beyond the time.

the City of Vierzon has installed the museum The chaplain of the steam locomotive
on an old industrial site. A film of about ten minutes tells of the hard activity of these "black gules".
